“We absolutely love our van build that was designed and built by the creative genius behind Nomadik Customs. After 18 months of research and planning our own DIY van build we decided to partner with a builder rather than try to build ourselves. During our research, time and time again the van builder that pop’ed up on our YouTube and Instagram feeds was Nomadik Customs. His beautiful work and personality just spoke to my wife and I; he stood out on top from all the van builders we interviewed. Marc’s proposal was the most complete, comprehensive and accurate - it became clear that Nomadik would be our partner for our Vanlife vision.
Marc is an amazing listener and he was able to parse through all our copious notes and examples of things we wanted in our van build and he became excited about some of our layout ideas and where things actually did not make sense he patiently iterated with us to take our design to the next level. We had monthly zoom status calls and when needed, he increased to weekly check-ins to fine tune fit and finishes. Our build started prior to the pandemic and when supply chain issues surfaced he helped us by providing us with alternative options or gave us the option to wait it out - he was very transparent and helped us work through some of the unforeseen delays.
Not only did he help us refine our initial design, he then proceeded to add finishes and creative components that were not part of our initial requirements. We had three onsite visits during the overall van build and each time we were welcomed by the entire team at Nomadik and they were all excited to show us their work and answer any questions we had. Marc and his team are consummate artisans and crafters - who make bespoke small spaces that you want and can, actually live in!
